Hdmi too scart

My parents have an old TV and it only has one scart input. The newer boxs she has bought only have hdmi outputs. Can you get a box switcher that has 3 hdmi inputs and only 1 scart output?

Possibly but the signal will be HD so will look far better on a HD TV rather than a crt.

I understand that but they aren't really interested in changing the TV if other options are possible

There's no point in spend lots on interfaces to old TV's when you could probably buy a second hand TV for less.

What type of box ?
might be cheaper to replace the box , and the picture quality would be way better than a converter

TBH there isn't much point in paying for HD if you only have SCART

If you don't have a sky subscription then you might as well get an OLD sky box with SCART output.

It's a HD box but it doesn't have the HD channels, it's going into the parents house ya see and the v8 and m8 only have hdmi outputs
