Educational psychology

Hi I am currently considering a career in educational psychology and would like someone's knowledge advice on this. I am a teacher for the past 8 years and hope to study psychology as a conversion course and then do the doctorate in UCD. It will be a long and expensive route. I'm just wondering has anyone done this with young children?

What is the salary at the moment?
    What are the job prospects?
Are there any other options for study available?

    Thanks in advance,
    Eclat

    Hi,

Did you do a psychology conversion course? If so, where did you do this?
I am also a teacher so don't have a psychology degree.
