    Hey,

Just wondering are there secure bike shelters or anything of that sort at the Luas stops close to Ranelagh? I'm looking at renting a place close to Rathmines/Harolds cross and cycling to the Luas to go on towards Sandyford Ind estate...

    Thanks!

Never seen any at the stop itself. There is one or two bicycle racks outside the station afaik.

Would you think about using the Dublin Bikes to get you to Ranalagh bridge and hopping on the Luas at Charlemont? Any bike left at a Luas stop is a magnet for thieves.

ye.. no such thing as secure bike parking in dublin!

Any bike locked anywhere all day is a magnet for theives.

When I last got luas (after first bike got nicked) I used an old new beater bike (new bike 70quid.. new lock 80 quid..) - but then DublinBikes wasnt around then..
