    Hi martinn123,

Thank you very much for posting this example of a Phishing email here on Boards.ie.

We can confirm that Bank of Ireland do not send emails or texts requesting customers to confirm any account or password information. We would also never send emails advising customer to fix their accounts by clicking on a resolution link.

We would always advise customers never to click on any links provided in such emails. If they have, we would strongly suggest to call Bank of Ireland Direct on 0818 365 365 as soon as possible to have their 365 PIN changed and to discuss any further necessary fraud prevention procedures.

You can find more information on Bank of Ireland's commitment to our customer's security here on our website.

Finally, any emails or texts of this nature can be forwarded to our dedicated 24/7 Fraud team at 365security@boi.com

    Thank you once again,

    Elaine
