So the footballers make their first appearance in the final of the All Ireland under 21 competition. A pity for the weaker county that this competition has almost come in under the radar. It would be a great boost for weaker counties for Tipperary to win this grade. Hope the media give this game the publicity it deserves. By the way Tipperary have two of the best midfielders in any grade on the team, namely Colin O'Riordan and Steven O'Brien.

Up Tipp, go on and win it!

By the way, it's a pity that there is not a Tipperary discussion thread on the GAA forum !

Only problem with this forum is that most contributors have a tremendous Hurling bias, I would safely say that most of them never turned up to a Tipp football league game this year. Maybe a few of them will make their way to Parnell Park on Saturday, but I doubt it as most of the team come from the Southern Division of the county, ie Killlcash, Moyle Rovers, Clonmel Commercials, Cahir and Ardfinnan.

Very sad but true. I've had to go on here for a bit of Tipperary u-21 chat. Hardly any mention of the final on our own forum which is a real piety.

as a neutral I'll be hoping Tipp win. always good to see a new name on the roll of honour and going on the semis ye play a less cynical game than Tyrone.

Thanks, look out for the Tipp centre field , they are as good as any centre field in the country. Their manager, Peter Creedon ( a Cork man living and working in Tipperary ) has the highest respect of everyone in the county!
