    Hi,

My Macbook Pro's display is all messed up (I dropped the laptop).

The nearest autorized repair is iConnect, Liffey Valley.

Do you guys know how much this should cost and would you recommend another store? I could go to Dublin if it was worth it.

iConnect states "An assessment fee will apply to any non-warranty machines. This fee will be offset against any repairs"

    Thanks

There's an iConnect in Newbridge if that's any closer to you. It's in whitewater.

There was a thread on this a while ago and the cost was quite a lot, so prepare your wallet...:-(

    :(

I cannot find the thread. I can only find threads about iPhones and iPads.

Any idea the cost and time it takes?

    FYI - I went to a non-affiliated store. I was quoted 750 euros.

    Can't afford this.

you could get a used one off ebay for about 250 sterling, or a hong kong new one for 150 sterling
