I have seen a car that I quite like at Cars online just wondering has anyone had any dealings with them ?

Are they any good or not?

    Any reviews would be helpful.

    thanks.

Thanks for the link Colm, Very useful to look at,

I'm Hoping some people have some reviews of them from personal experience as I have heard of some garages in the same area having rather dodgy reviews.

    Thanks again

Went to view an Audi a3 with a pal before. Absolute waste of time. Salesman described it as showroom condition.

When we arrived to view it (after ringing ahead) the car wasn't even there. We had to wait about 10mins before the mechanic came back from using it to collect parts.

Car was rough as fcuk, lacquer peeling off the bonnet, missing a driver's door handle. No nct, despite being advertised as having a new one. Told that'd be a condition of sale, but then offered to knock a few quid off if we took it as it was.

Wasn't offering a warranty either, said the new nct would be our guarantee. Said that if we bought privately we wouldn't have a warranty either. (Why'd ya think we're in a garage then?!)

Asked us what we thought and we said we weren't impressed, pointed out the rough bodywork that wasn't in the pictures. Salesman asked us if we knew any panelbeaters.

At that stage it was time to go! That's my experience of them. Absolute timewasters.

I went to look at an A4 1.9 TDI a couple of years ago there - again pictures looked good on the net. Got there and it was one of the worst cars I've ever seen for sale. Rough as toast - knocking noise in the engine, very warn tyres, no history at all and loads of scuffs/body damage (one wing mirror was held on with cable ties.
Salesman was nice enough but I never went back again (if that's the level of cars their selling).

I bought from them before, happy with it myself. Likewise with mine they said it had a new nct but it didn't, they put it through before I bought it and gave a 3 month warranty on engine/gearbox.
