    I bought this item just over a year ago. I used the microwave function this evening and then wiped the inside of the door. The glass just shattered under the cloth as I wiped it. Has anyone had similar problems, any idea what Neff warranty is like. I can't believe this happened to such a new and expensive product.

    it is still under the 2 year warranty the products carry

    It is still under warranty which I feel they may try to get out of. I'm sure they will tell me that I shouldn't have......blah.....blah...
    I contacted the retailer who told me to argue that it's a relatively new appliance with normal usage. I have the receipt and I've booked an engineer call out so we'll see what happens.

    Engineer called and replaced the glass, he had no idea why the glass shattered. Turns out that I have to make another engineer booking tomorrow. The Neff dishwasher I bought at the same time gave up today. It didn't drain so I emptied it manually (YUK) I followed the instructions to clean the filter, take off the pump cover and checked that the pump wasn't stuck. I ran a cycle which emptied and I thought that was it. However it got stuck again on the next cycle and the door does not seem to close properly. Seriously unhappy with NEFF so far. If anyone is in kitchen mode at the moment I'd think twice about buying Neff.
