Change of ownership - send logbook to which address?

Just a quick question. Every time I've sold a car I've sent the logbook off to:

Department of Transport, Shannon, Co. Clare.

I sold one earlier today and as I was about to write the address on the envelope I wanted to double check it and noticed that the logbook states that it should be sent to:

Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government, Shannon, Co. Clare.

There is a note on the logbook stating that the car was exempt from VRT.

    Has anyone seen this before?

Either will get there, I would go with the first one, less to write

I assume you know that if it was exempt from VRT it can't be sold for 1 year after it was imported?

    Don't think it's a freepost address...

Yeah, the note says that written consent from the revenue was needed if sold before 1/10/2005.

You can, but it's a waste of money

    All government departments are freepost
There is only one government department in Shannon
"The department, Shannon" would get it there.
