I did this last year, and it was very well marshaled, particularly on the tight right handler at the end of the Ballaghbeama descent - not a place you want to come off the bike :-). I think I remember having to pay for a CI licence on the day - or it that included in the € 25 ?

Did this last year and it was very well run.
The last ramp up to Ballaghbeama nearly killed me :o.

The Price of the cycle is €25 or else €20 if you hold a cycling Ireland Licence.

Took part in this cycle last year - interesting alternative to the Ring - much fewer cyclists and all the better for that. Climb at Ballaghbeama is a good challenge, and excellent grub at both the food stops and the end; well worth considering.

Terrific day out, the weather was spot on, cloudy and cool. Quick sign in and prompt start. I knew most of the course, Molls gap is a tough aperitif before the main course of Ballaghbeama. This had its usual share walkers which is understandable. A hilly section followed by an easy run in to Beaufort. Very well organised and plenty of encouragement from the stewards as we journeyed around.
A nice feed at the finished rounded off a most enjoyable day. Thanks to everyone involved in making this day happen. Definitely on my list for next year.
