How to go back on JSB?

    Hi everyone,

I was on JSB for about six months last year, and then worked from July until now. My contract was not renewed but I am being taken back from the end of June until August so I just need to go back on it until mid-June.

Do I need to fill out all the documentation and provide payslips, etc again? Or is it in any way shorter now as I would be already on the system?

I really want to get it sorted as soon as possible as there's a course that I would really like to do for the six weeks that I'll only be eligible for if I am receiving social welfare.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide!

Go into your local office today and sign on,they will tell you what forms you need to fill in.

Fair enough, thanks for that. Do you know if you can sign in without proof of address? I have no way of getting any today before the place closes, and don't want to spend all day queueing in there if I won't be able to get anything done.

I'm currently on hold to them to ask the same question but after just over 10 minutes and no answer I'm not very hopeful that I'll get anybody!

The most important thing is to sign on today, your claim will start and you can supply the dept with any missing info during the week.
