I witnessed Robbery

I went to open the window, when I saw these 3 kids taking rollerblades from my next door number, the rollerblades were left outside their house so what they did was, take the rollerblades, put the behind my car and knock on the door asking if (name) was here, once told no they said ''sorry, wrong house'' and then took the rollerblades behind my car and ran off, now they live in my estate so should I had confronted those kids when that incident was taking place or should I had waited and told my neighbour ?
I am kind of scared that my neighbours would take me as kind of a pussy for not confronting them when I saw them, it was just all of a sudden it happened.

Should have said something at the time. You're now an accessory to rollerblade theft. That's a mandatory 20 years.

    I could but... :p
    I changed it.

On topic I'd have just taken down as much info as possible to tell the Gardaí and your neighboour

Is your neighbour's husband not your neighbour as well?

    Depends where you live.

Nice area with decent people: Go to one of the kids and tell them if they don't put them back, you're going to have no option but to go to the Guards.

Rough area: Tell your neighbour but don't approach the tearaways.

I would have ran outta the gaff screaming for a go on the rollerblades and then put all the little ****ers to shame with me skillz on dem.

I live in a really nice area, quite and friendly, only 1 traveller family at the near end, never bothered anyone really, but still act the maggots, riding their horses and motorbikes.
But that is rarely as they live at the end, never bothered us.
My dad is alright friends with their dad, gave him a lift twice.
Always says Hi to me whenever I see him or his kids.
But that still does not make up for what they did, their kid told me that recentely they had robbed a bike.
