    Good piece on this show about farming. thought the beef lad talking about expansion and markets missed a trick.

    No mention of increased supply causing bad prices so no incentive for beef to increase numbers.

    he put it down to lads being part time happy enough being extensive.

    To be fair he did stress the importance of having markets and when Brendan asked do we need bigger farms, he said something like not bigger farms but better farms
    I thought he was quite good and you'd know that he was after being in college, he talked the talk anyway, I can't see him being content slogging away his life on a farm.
    Plenty f help on the retired athletes farm anyway, father, manager, farm worker, there'll be plenty agro there before he finds his slot

    She has a good business head on her anyway between plugging the grandfather's open farm & the cow tipper, she didn't miss a trick.

    In fairness I'd say she was more hands on than the beef lad, who spoke very well, but can't see him for the hard Road

    I missed the farming part is the crush the one for hoof paring and would that woman be from conna outside fermoy.

    the beef fella is the lad from the tg4 feirm show, it was a good interview, the blond was nice too
