The brother in law was looking at kubota's online today and was asking about them. I know they make top class lawn mowers and garden equipment but what are the tractors like? Are they just licensed branding from kubota or are they actually made by them?

According to thier website they do cheap finance but only seems to be on the us market.

I think they are good. Haven't heard anything bad about them. They have a good range of machines too. Upto 150hp I think

I would think they are good as well they are Japanese and they usually make quality stuff unlike some stuff out of China.
Never heard any complaints about Kubota.

Only have a compact . Great kit but reapers at main dealer are a bit expensive.

I know a guy that has a small tractor mower 20hp pto etc over 15 years old,it's serviced on the button every time.
It's gets a lot of work and only problem in that time was the deck from getting bashed about.
Used every day and never fails.cuts grass pulles 8x4 trailer, sparayer.
If the rest of the models are half as good as this he will get a great tractor.

There's a lot of them around me and anyone that has them seems to be happy enough. As said they seem a bit light for their power. A neighbour has a m130x and it seems a fine tractor.

Do a search over on the 4x4, tractors and plant forum. A guy over there, nucking facker, changed a clutch in one and said they were very light. Only about as heavy as a transit van or so.

Possibly so. I know nothing about them. Never even within 200 yards of one.

Neighbour works in a garage that sells them. He says that sales are slowly growing, actually doing better than they had expected. He says the most noticeable thing about dealing with the company is that they are cash rich and when dealing with their garages, in terms of stock and parts and equipment levels, no corners are cut. They also now own the Kvernaland machinery group.

Kubota have stated they want to be as big as deere, have cash on hand to do it too just building slowly each generation of machine gets away from the budget end to more mass market. Friend has one back home last 2.5 years, as he says it's nothing to rave about but neither has it caused any hassel...

The big rumor here is they've been eyeing claas for the last few years.

Yeah I heard that myself. I think they were eyeing up deutz aswell. Using them established companies to break into the American market

A cousin of mine has a 06 100 hp one. I drew silage for a few hours with it. was well able to pull now in fairness. It takes serious hardship in his place and stays going none the less. Its is very compact and cramped in the cab their diesel tank is too small and its like sitting on a jack hammer when you drive it. The backend is probly a bit too small aswell. But over all it is a reliable machine with zero frills. If a person wants a bog standard machine thats it or a Tomosan. Saw the new types at the ploughing they go upto 170hp and has a nice price tag of 100 thousand for it !

thought its possible to import them from uk at reasonable value, heard of guy who purchased demo model but had to get some uk farmer to put more hours on before it was possible to import for some reason, but he saved around 8,000 in process or so he claimed,
some had a problem with either transmission or clutch , wonder is that still an issue
