Hi all

I have a problem. I need to get a police certificate to go to UK to study nursing. I have been in touch in the vetting unit in Thurles who issued me a piece of paper saying this was not to be construed as no convictions. Went to garda station and was told they only issue them for people visa reasons.

I simply need a police certificate saying I have no convictions on headed paper from the garda. The document for Thurles is not acceptable.

How do you get around this?
