Cylinder head skimming

    Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good machine shop in or around Dublin to skim and recondition a couple of Triumph Stag cylinder heads?

I would also be prepared to travel a bit for good workmanship, so it's not essential for the machine shop to be in the Dublin region.

    Thanks a mill in advance!

Tom Falconer in Ringsend is a great guy, and specialises in heads.

Thanks, much appreciated! I'll give him a call soon to see how busy he's at the moment.

I was in with him during the week, and he mentioned that he was quite busy, but he should be able to fit you in if you aren't in a huge rush.

Thanks again! I'll give him a call this week or next, I'm not in a mad rush. The heads are only one thing out of many to sort out! :)

Thanks Winnie, good point, will check them out as well.

By the way, have heard good things about Trident Manufacturing in Dublin as well, anyone know them well?

Do the heads require hardened valve seats?

No, they should already have that, but will double check.
