Spike TV - Is it another channel by Channel 5?

    Who is it aimed at?

It's TV for blokes apparently, but mine tell me I want it too, for Breaking Bad. Even though I'm not a bloke.

Where are you seeing Breaking Bad or any other programme? All I see is endless Cops. Just realised it was Spike that used to show endless Star Trek back in the day aswell, wish they'd bring that back but SyFy has the rights now. Thanks for the tip anyway my auld lad will want this.

I'm getting it to watch bellator. It's probably second to the UFC in mma fighting organisations in America.

CBS action and Horror channel are two FTAs that show several Star Treks per day.

Please note that if someone is a current Sky Digital ROI Subscriber then I understand that they will NOT be able to pull it up on an Irish SKY electronic programme guide at Channel#160 as the channel "Spike" is not officially listed on the SKY Ireland epg.

Irish subscribers using a SKY ROI Digibox can manually ADD this channel using the below parameters and may access it using "OTHER CHANNELS" option.

pity Spike TV didnt think of launching their channel a few years ago, we would have definitely had it before Viacom teamed up with Channel 5. I guess this means all future Viacom channels will be UK EPG only.

Not necessarily, I think it really depends on whether it is a "Channel 5" channel or an "MTV Networks" channel - we'll get the latter but not the former.

Gotta say Spike TV has now replaced BBC "Free" (3) as my goto channel at 11pm. Farewell Family Guy... hello Walter White.

They must have heard about you. The first Family Guy is now usually at 10.30. Eastenders is now at 10pm.

Now if only we can get Southpark (as if Comedy Central would ever do that) life would be complete
