I think you closed the wrong account

    Hi,

    I recently bought a property and set up a new account with electric Ireland. This week I closed my existing account in my rented property- I was not able to get meter readings so closed it on an estimate. Your customer service person called out the estimated reading at the time which I noted. I have since acquired a meter reading and these in no way correspond to the readings your rep gave me . They do look similar to readings I had for my new account. I'm really concerned that the wrong account was closed. Could you check this out for me please? I'll send a pm
