Had an Interview that I *think* went pretty well. The girl said that today was just an initial "meet and greet" and there was a 4 person panel interview to follow for shortlisted candidates.
Im wondering if this type of things typical and if theres anything I should take away from it?

Not unusual at all to screen people before a panel interview, though I used to phone screen people first so as not to bring people in if it was clear it'd be a waste of time for both of us after a couple of minutes. Not sure if there's much you can take away from your first interview or not, but you should assume that the panel interview will go into a lot more detail than in the first one.

Is there any difference as to how you would prepare for and handle a panel interview as opposed to a more typical one?

Not really - tho with 4 people, I'd expect that at least one will be a HR person, or someone who will not be working with you day to day. So there may be more behavioural questions, not just competency based ones.
