    HI folks

Just wondering if anyone here can point me in the right direction.

I have an Hon's degree in computer science, but, can't find a job near to home. Now and again, jobs come up locally, advertising FETAC level 5 - 6 tutors etc...

Does anyone know, what teaching qualification you would need in addition to the degree to teach these courses?

It depends on the employer, if it is private sector then you need no extra qualifications. If the job is in the public sector then you need to be registered with The Teaching Council. First you need a degree which they will recognise, you will also need to have a hDip in adult ed. or be enrolled on such a course.
Typically such a course is one year full time or two part time.
You would need to do a lot of research before embarking on such a course.
