    hey, so I signed a contract to take up a trainee contract in june as I will be finished my exams in may. I signed the contract last month.
    Since then I have kind of changed my mind in what I want to do and am going to pursure a masters course in September. I have been looking for summer internships in which I have interviews for two coming up in the bank and as a financial analyst.
    My question is If I am offered one of these roles where do I stand in terms of the trainee contract I already signed. can I just ring them and tell them I will not be taken up the role even after signing the contract?

    Do you have a copy of the contract? it should say in there what way you'd need to go about it..
