Gaming laptop for basic emulation?

I'd like to purchase a laptop for emulation up to and including the PS1. I guess therefore I'd need something with a dedicated GPU and also a gorgeous display would be a must as well. Was hoping to not spend a huge amount of money.

I wonder would something like a second hand Dell XPS do the job? Don't want anything too extravagant like an Alienware as that would be overkill in my opinion.

    Thanks for any help/suggestions! :)

You really don't need powerful hardware to emulate PS1.

Even PS2 is possible on a low-end dedicated or mid-range integrated GPU; what matters most is raw CPU speed.
