Powell fly rods

    does anyone know where one can get a Powell Fly rod repaired?
    The Powell family apparently sold out to some other company,which don't honour Powells "lifetime" guarantee !
    The butt section split just below the joint and spread about a foot down towards the handle.
    This was one of the last rods, the Powells made(mk1tiboron) and I
    would love to get it repaired

    I know there are some lads in the UK who will role new tips from carbon. Google "new fly rod tips/repair UK" and you should find someone who can help
