I noticed the Boston flight 137 is always EI13T on FR. Would their callsign be Shamrock 1-3-Tango? Why the change from the 7?

Mainly the reason is to avoid confusion with other callsigns with similar, or identical numbers.

For example there might be another flight 137 scheduled at a similar time or one with a similar routing ...like the 135 from Shannon to Boston that arrives at a similar time (callsign EIN1AC)

When we started flying back to San Fran there was a clash with the Boston flight as there were two similar callsigns. The early Boston flight lost out and is now the 13T whereas SFO is 147. I presume SFO won out due to the longer flight time and the greater chance of us messing up the callsign:)
