Who would you recommend to get seat re contoured in Dublin ? I'm basically looking to get the seat height raised or flattened out. As I like to move around !!

Any ideas for the budget conscious :D

Check out the Dublin Upolstery company on Ushers quay. The do fantastic work on recovering and remodeling saddles.

I enquired in a few places to getting a seat done for my bike, I wanted a gel insert, and the feedback I got was that you're better off getting something from the UK as the market for that here wasn't big enough. That was a good while ago when the € wasn't as bad against the £.

A proper gel seat might not be that much more expensive than getting it done here. I'd be checking French/German sites as they where more into that type then us or the UK.

Go to vstrom.co.uk there is plenty of information there on this. I have a stroke myself I like the seat myself but plenty over there have changed theirs to something like what you want . I believe gel is not great . a reshape can be done for bout 80 quid I believe
