Paid Sick Leave on Jobbbridge?

Hi. I missed five days recently due to illness. My employer had to input that information as part of my monthly report. He then received a call from the Department asking about the days I've missed. Then today I haven't received my weekly payment? So am I not entitled to paid sick leave? That seems a bit harsh. I was genuinely sick and I supplied my employer with a medical certificate. Thanks.

If you are a bank of Ireland customer your payment may be delayed today as they seem to be having an issue.

I have no idea about sick leave and Jobbridge though.

afaik sick leave in job bridge is 10 days over the course of the internship.
there seems to be problems with some SW payments in bank this morning, so it may be that.

Many employees don't get paid sick leave. I'm surprised if JobBridge people do get it when they're working with employees who don't.

Well tbf (and i don't mean this in a smart way) paid employees get paid by the company whereas jobbridge people don't. Their entitlements are based on the scheme rules rather than the company policy so it's 10 sick days entitlement which doesn't affect their payment.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah the problem seemed to be with Bank of Ireland. Just to confirm, I made some enquires this morning and you're paid for 10 sick days. Anymore sick leave after that and the internship is terminated. Thanks again.
