Car tax and insurance at temp accomodation

I will be moving out of my current place within the next few weeks/month and both my car tax and insurance is up at the end of June. I will be staying in some temporary accommodation, probably a B&B for a while until I move home during which time, the tax and insurance will run out. Is it going to be possible for me to renew these when I don't have a permanent address? I don't know if I can use the B&B address, especially when I don't plan on staying there long term.

Anyone else been in a similar situation?

You only need an address to receive the documents. As long as the normal address you keep the car is stated to the insurance company, then you are fine. Some people would have an address in say the country but the car may spend the majority of the time in Dublin due to commuting etc.

Thanks, I didn't think of that for some reason :)

If you will be staying in BnB then provide your insurer with BnB address.
Once you move, then update them with your new address.
