leaving work to college, entitled to anything?

    Hi guys.

    Hope one of ye guys could help.i am working full time Currently In a career I am not happy in.i want to go back to college in sept to do a full time course. have any of ye guys been in my position before with handing in notice to do the same in 3rd level. and if so what benefits if any at all did you receive or were you entitled to?

    You could 'apply' for the grant through SUSI but depending on your income in 2014 (I think, it may be 2013) you may not get anything. You should get the general free fees assuming you are doing the level you choose for the first time, or after a break of 5 years.

    what body would i apply for the course fees off?(mature student) doesn't look like i qualify for the susi grant :(
