    Hi,
Looking for a surprise getaway night with my wife in June (20th or 27th).
Living in Galway, looking within 1 or 1.5 hours max of Galway.

    Ideally somewhere:
    • to relax/just chill out
    • pool would be nice but not a deal breaker
    • places to go for a stroll
Currently looking at the likes of 1 Pery Square (I know it's in a city but meant to be lovely), Zetland County Manor House, Hodson Bay.
Ice House in Sligo meant to be lovely but it's a bit far away.
Anyone have any recommendations or know of good deals?
    Thanks in advance,
    Pa.

My brother and his wife go to the Wineport Lodge in Athlone at lot and they absolutely love it.

Thanks but it's full... Heard great reviews of it alright.

currently have both Cromleach Lodge and Knockranny House booked; will probably go with Knockranny as it has a pool, spa and Westport is very pleasant, relaxing.

Stayed with herself in Doonbeg Lodge about 18 months ago & it was fab.
The two story courtyard lodges are really nice.
It's not cheap but it's a lovely spot.
    There is no pool though.

Cheers. Looks stunning alright. But phoned today and what they have left is coming in at just under €900!
