Ryanair lost property?

Hi, I'm looking for people's experiences wit Ryanair & lost property, and what avenues you've taken to try get stuff back.

I left an iPhone 4s on board my plane from Turin to Stansted, 21 April 2015. I've contacted 1st Flight in Stansted, who handle all lost property including items left on the plane, and nothing has been handed in. I also contacted Ryanair to ask which other destinations the plane went to after my flight. According to the agent, the two Turin flights were the only two flights the aircraft made that day (seems unlikely for Ryanair?). I don't know if the planes are cleaned after their final flight, but as of yet nothing's been handed in. I am also trying Turin airport to see if anything was handed in there today, if indeed the first flight after mine was back to Turin this morning.

The only other thing I can think of is that it has been stolen. It hasn't been switched on by anyone as of yet (my boyfriend tries calling at regular intervals, it's still powered off). I just don't know where it could be if it hasn't been stolen. Any advice welcome.

I've copied your thread over into the Aviation & Aircraft forum right here. Someone there might also be able to assist.

    Hope it's returned to you,

Don't have any direct experience but this story came to mind when I saw your post .....

Passenger left a Nikon SLR camera worth £499 on a Ryanair plane, it was found by a cabin steward who promptly put it up for sale on eBay where the owner spotted it. Owner got the seller to admit that the camera was his, guy offered to return it but when the owner checked the guy's profile on eBay, he discovered that he had sold 118 items on eBay in the previous few months so he reported it to the cops who raided the guy's house where they found the camera and a Kindle left behind by another Ryanair passenger.
