    I thought Mercury was below the horizon at this time.
    I love when you can see the Moon like this and the sky still barely lit by the sun, helps give great perspective of The Sun, Moon & Earths position in the system. I stood looking for a good while tonight.

    I thought Mercury was below the horizon at this time.

    Yep the object below the moon is Aldebaran, the brightest star in the constellation Taurus. Lovely shot tho.

    Mercury is lower to the right ..
