Hp pavilion notebook keyboard problem

    I have bought a new HP pavilion notebook but the KB is not working.

    When entering text the cursor jumps all over the place. I tried an external USB keyboard....same result. I cannot type any message on it at all. Model number HP p 150sq.

    The keyboard will work with Word, Notepad etc but sometimes not in the boards editor when doing a new thread or reply. Only happens sometimes.
