How many questions are asked?

I have my driving test tomorrow, I am told I am quite a good driver (after fecking paying for nearly a hundred hours) or well good enough to pass the test anyway.

Main thing I am struggling with is the questions, I just can't seem to keep the answers in my head, I've always struggled with it even through school.

Can anyone tell me how many questions are asked? and if their is questions asked while driving? if anything I will fail on questions.

I need this licence to keep my job (sort of a promotion, bump in pay but the old role is not been used anymore) so its either pass or I am out. I am not in the job long enough to get redundancy :/

sorry for new thread if its not aloud.

I did my test last week and after being invited in from the waiting area, she took me to her desk, took my details and then asked:

    - When would you use dipped beams?
    - What are the rules for a yellow box junction?
    - What does an amber traffic light mean?

She then asked me about 4 to 5 road signs (dangerous bends ahead, contra flow bus lane, pedestrianised street and a few more).

Then out to the car and the there were a few questions on technical checks and controls (pop the bonnet and show me the engine coolant and break fluid, where would you put the oil?...inside the car I was asked how I would clear fogged up windows using the a/c and how to turn on the main beams).

There were no questions during the driving part of the test.

Of course, that was just my experience and the number and nature of the questions may vary but I'm pretty sure you won't get any during the driving part of the test.

You would get one grade 2 if you get three or more rules questions wrong.

Obviously, you want to avoid getting an easy grade 2 but you would be far from failing on rules questions alone (you can get up to 8 grade 2s and still pass provided 4 of them are not under the same aspect).

    Good luck in your test!

You won't be asked any questions during the test. You'll either be asked them at the very beginning, before you even go out to the car, or afterwards when you go back to the office.
