Cheap Hotels in Dublin for one night

Right lads basically Im looking for a cheap hotel in dublin, single room just for one night?
The night I need is the 2nd of May and checking out on the 3rd of May, Im attending a course at the Morgan Hotel on Fleet Street so need to be as near to that as possible.
Does anyone know of any cheap hotels nearby ?
All the ones Ive found are either booked out or like €250 for one night

If you aren't willing to go for a hostel I would have thought €200 a night is about as good as it gets on a Saturday night. Camden Court Hotel is showing at €200 about 20 minute walk I would guess.

Definitely not, they must be bumping up prices for bank holiday weekend.

Book a double room in a hostel. You will have your own room and will be a lot cheaper. Does it need to be a hotel?

I stayed in this hostel one time by myself, think I paid about €30-€40 for a private room and bathroom to myself.

I didn't know what to expect as had never been to a hostel before and had images of a manky smelly room haha.
It was spotlessly clean, very plain and a bit shabby but not a speck of dirt.
Bed linen was very fresh and clean and I had a great nights sleep.

I would most definitely stay there again.

Jurys Inn Customhouse would be ideal actually, it says on hotels combined that they have space but on their wesbite it says their booked up ?

dublin is almost back to boom times as far as hotel room rates go and saturday night is always the most expensive.

Looks like its booked out. Looks like the hotels are very busy that weekend due to the bank holiday either that or the Celtic Tiger has returned

Look at Airbnb or you may have to compromise & use the Luas & stay out at somewhere like Newlands cross.

Ok, my secret for weekends like this is www.lidl-breaks.ie You can generally get a room in Bewleys Leopardstown (right beside the green luas to Stepehen's Green) with breakfast and free parking. For your date it's €69 plus a couple of quid for the Luas you will be less than 30 minutes from your course.
