Transfer Process

    Hi

I was finally granted CID (10.5 hours) under BTEI - Back to Education Initiative in 2010 after a long battle. As the budget is tight for this (in terms of getting extra hours that are continuous) I am currently looking for a transfer (secondary as opposed to further ed. where I may have a better chance of getting more hours). I am finding it difficult to live on 10.5 hours.

    1. Does someone know anything about this process within ETBs? Am I right in assuming I will go on a panel?

    2. I am been given 4 additional hours to start a new course (so as to have names for Sept/enrolled I imagine) from now until 29th May. I currently do my CID hours over the course of 3 days ( according to some Dept circular?) i.e 3 half days - (I travel 1 hour to and 1 hour from workplace).
I am being told that these additional 4 hours have to be done on another day when I could do them on one of the other half days. So I am wondering is there some Department circular that specifies how many hours a teacher must do each day over the course of a week or is this a phantom document?

    Regards
    Buffy05
