I noticed a small drip at the end of this 'glass' unit... what can I do to investigate / repair same myself???
Didn't want to tighten in case I cracked it etc...

Complete newbie on this... so no real experience of what to do.

    Any help appreciated

Buy a new metal filter and use the metal bowel and new "O" ring instead of the clear plastic one that's there. If metal bowel doesn't fit (they usually do) replace the whole filter with your metal one. Dont forget to turn off the valve when changing and back on afterwards.
Dont over tighten and check regularly for leaks after the repair.
