Moving to Germany

I know there are older threads on the same topic but I figured a lot may have changed in the 12+ months since they were posted.

I am thinking of moving to Germany, specifically Münster because my girlfriend lives there (she's German). I'm just finishing my undergraduate (Arts - not great prospects, I know). I speak a small bit of German which I'm working on when I have time and I'm willing to give it serious commitment.

I've been searching online for jobs in the city and there seems to be a steady number of English-speaking support roles. However, these are advertised by recruitment agencies and I feel like they simply ignore CVs that do not fulfill exact criteria (eg, having 8 months experience rather than 12 etc).

Does anyone know what opportunities look like in Münster or the Nordrhein-Westfalen region in general, in German or English? I'm willing to do pretty much anything but on that same token, I know that my degree doesn't leave me with a whole lot of options. Would it even be possible to find a summer job?

I live about 1hr30min from Münster in Düsseldorf, Plenty of English speaking jobs here. lots of call centres based here that hire fluent English speaking workers and use English or a mix of English as there day to day working language.

Of the top of my head:
    Booking.com
    Ebay/Paypal
    and AMR

have offices here and have English speaking positions.

From my experience Düsseldorf and Köln have the majority of English speaking jobs in NRW but if you look around there's plenty to be had.
