    Advice and experiences please

    Hi I bought a set of cctv cameras of I want this deal on Facebook .. Their customer support is the worst in the world.. It's been over the delivery time they said it would be delivered in , when you post on their Facebook about where is my order , they delete so I lt won't affect orders coming in .. They just delete posts to make there item look good .. There are so many others who have been waiting on these cameras and are not getting the answer they need as to when delivery is.. I have been in touch with other customers and they say they are going no where and don't think the item will arrive .. I can't believe they are still taking orders yet won't forfill their pervious ones.. There is a lot of negative pages about I want this deal , it's a pity I never seen them before ordering


    HAS ANYONE HAD TROUBLE WITH I WANT THIS DEAL , or am I thinking to much that this won't end well

    There were alot of people let down at Christmas.. alot of people.

    Their facebook page was littered with comments about it, I'm surprised people are still buying from them.

    Wouldn't buy anything from them.

    I seen a load of people posting on their page at Christmas raging they where waiting months on delivers that where then promised on the last postal date before the day.

    I have a suspicion they order the stuff from half way round the world which is why you could be waiting, from what was stated in the comments before they where deleted people who did get theirs where unhappy with the quality of things they got , bear in mind the products where the psp look alike console and a hair curlers and a uni pad I think.

    First I heard of them was on rtes consumer show seems a lot of people have had issues I think everyone on the show got their orders but some didn't get things that were Christmas presents until well into new year.

    It's very hard to get a straight answer as to the day it will arrive .. They keep their replys as short and sweet , it's just annoying to think money was handed over and nothing to show for it...

    Did you private message them with tracking order number if they gave you a tracking order number that is.

    If you paid via 3v you can get refunded within a certain time frame and like wise on your credit card

    No tracking number as they are waiting on delivery to their depot today or tomorrow and then they will send out via fastway ... That's the last message I got of them , they sent the same message to another buyer but said it will be coming to their depot next Monday or Tuesday... Seems to be mixed messages

    I had a look previously when the site was discussed on The Consumer Show, all of the stuff they sell seems to be just non branded rubbish that there can be no possible expectation of any level of quality whatsover, I would rather set fire to my money in the backyard than risk buying anything from the site.

    Maybe call your Credit card company to see does it matter how long you wait to get money refunded back onto card if goods do not show.

    Im the same as Alan has taken me over a week for a reply all my facebook posts have been removed also!!!! If they were on the rte consumer show why are they still trading????? They have now said my cameras will be send out Monday or Tuesday which will be 46 days after I placed my order not the 24 days that they stated they would be sent out by!!!! I will wait it out to money if I haven't gotten a tracking number by then does anyone know what is the best authorities to contact?? Please and thx

    Google citizen information they should have what to do listed on their site.

    They stated mine will be in the depot tomorrow and I will have it by end of week.. I will contact them tomorrow and if it never arrived I will contact my credit card for refund.. It's a joke how they treat people .. Will also contact trading standards

    They have also set up anew site called I want this hotel deal it has only a few members so far but they say when they get 1000 likes they will offer a deal

    I presume they take orders and then buy from alibaba or one of the Chinese online stores would explain the delivery times. I hope you're able to get your stuff or at least a refund from your card provider.

    Received this last Thursday after endless massages forward and back


    Hi Alan we would like to apologise for the delay with this order as the merchant was late dispatching this to us, but this has now been resolved, we have just checked this for you and can see we are expecting to receive this order to our warehouse on Monday or Tuesday, as soon as this order has arrived to our warehouse it will be dispatched from there within 1-2 days via fastway couriers, you should expect to receive this order by the end of next week. As soon as this order has been dispatched from our warehouse you should expect to receive an email from our customer care team with tracking information, we hope this helps and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    Emailed them yesterday and they told me it will be tomorrow which is today for definite that cameras would be with them

    ...... Blood boiling I demanded they ring me on a post on their Facebook page ( post now deleted like all my others) but after a few minutes the phone rang

    (Copied from a message I sent to another buyer) He says Thursday is definite for arrival of the cameras .. Told him I am sick of all the bull**** answers and different answers they are giving people and as of Thursday if I don't receive a tracking I will be contacting all buyers and we will be taking joint legal action along with consumer relations .. He says they will be there Thursday ... I told him that a least post an honest message stating this on the Facebook. Page instead of deleting posts for the gain of new buyers( won't happen) .. He was short of words just like his massages I told him and to take this as a warning for Thursday.. Asked why I was told Monday then Tuesday he said they changed suppliers as they could not produce the goods, I told him again he should have posted this up... BUT IF THIS WAS THE CASE they sent me a message saying they will be in stock tomorrow today ... Arrrrh I forget half of what I said but I never give him a chance ... Brian is his name for reference ..

    So the old supplier was meant to product the cameras and have them with them on Thursday and now they have found another supplier who is able to produce the camera and have them with them on Monday or Tuesday! Thats impressive from the new supplier!! Its amazing how long these companies area able to last. I do online orders for my company and am pretty sure our repeat customer percentage would drop through the floor is we carried on like that!

I need to contact someone who will sort this once and for all.. I have snap shots of all my messages posted here and the ones deleted by yourselves along with times.. I have been in contact with a few other buyers and we are strongly thinking of bringing a case against you's as we are all getting different answers ..

    lol I just need my cameras .. I was guaranteed they will be there Thursday , I hope so because I am been told one thing and another, need definite tracking Thursday as I feel I am been messed about .. I was told last Thursday it would be Monday or Tuesday , I message you yesterday and was told today for sure , I massage you's today and then get an email it will be Thursday.. My patience is been tested to the last , Its not a nice place to be messed about

    I can imagine its very frustrating but not really much you can do but wait. If you don't have them by Friday I would be getting on to my card provider to look at getting the money back.

    There's a time limit on Charge backs so get onto your provider.


    Also in extreme situations many charge backs could result in the retailer losing their merchant account and the ability to take cards.

    Like the OP I bought these cameras on 31stMarch from the iwantthisdeal.ie website. On April 2nd, €208.20 including delivery was debited from my Credit Card account.

    Delivery timeframe was cited at 24 days, so when this significantly passed I contacted the company via their website on 5th May. All I received was an email asking "which email address I used when purchasing the item". I replied immediately but heard nothing by reply despite sending another reminder email a few days later.

    I have also queried them through their Facebook Page on 4 occasions at this stage. My queries are always deleted, generally within 24 hours. Clearly they don't want others alerted to their shoddy behaviour. I can see from other comments on the Facebook page (that don't last long on there either) that I am not the only one affected.

    I have initiated a Chargeback on the Credit card over a week ago!

    I would like that others wouldn't be able to be conned the way that I have been. So in this regard, I would be quite happy to see them lose their ability to take cards.

    Their customer care is a complete farce. They will however reply to queries requesting info that might lead to a sale - ie lead to them extracting money from someone elses credit card.

    In case anyone is reading this in advance of a potential purchase. Be clear and be warned - www.iwantthisdeal.ie is a SCAM. If you do get a product delivered, it will seemingly be rubbish quality. Old saying, if its too good to be true..........!!!!






    UPDATE: As mentioned, I had initiated a Chargeback on the Credit Card. In fairness to the Bank, 5 working days after they would have received the request and supporting documentation, the money was restored to my Credit Card account.

    I would encourage anyone else who has had a similar experience (non delivery or excessively delayed delivery), no customer care, or the experience of receiving even shoddier than expected goods, to do likewise. Hopefully, when the Credit Card companies and banks, get a number of these chargebacks, they'll remove the merchant status from iwantthisdeal.ie completely. That would be doing the Irish consumer a significant service.

    TL:DR Do not buy anything from www.iwantthisdeal.ie. You will likely end up without your money (possibly permanently), or with sh*t goods.

    Im in same boat ordered cctv 19th March and still no cameras, getting same email responses too, actually getting no response at present! I will be ringing the bank today.
