Hi, so I'm wondering are there any broadband providers that don't require a phone line? I'm living in Waterford so I'm not in too remote an area. Basically are there any broadband options aside from UPC that operate without the use of a phone line?

Not sure what you mean by "phone line" ........ the physical copper line or that you are required to have a phone number and phone active on the line?

On the same topic, just moved into an area which has Eircom eFibre connectivity ( according to their coverage map) and considering their Broadband /Home Phone package @€;25/month for 6 months & €58/month for a further 12 months.
An alternative option is Simply Broadband from Vodafone @38/month for 18months which, according to Vodafone is "without having to pay for a landline you don't need". If so, how is the Vodafone service delivered without a landline and how would it compare with the Eircom eFibre speeds ? Not really techie minded so glad for any advice or guidance on this ! Thanks !

Several of the companies using eircom's infrastructure will sell you "Naked Broadband" i.e. without a phone service.

Eircom also have an efibre only package via landline but without the phone service
