Hi everyone.
Just wondering if anyone got their msap results and wat they mean
I think I'm disappointed wit mine..even a bit embarrassed to put them down hereðŸ˜

I had two reults:

Scaled score: 100 Percentile: 49
Scaled score: 97 Percentile: 39

Can anyone please tell me what this means?!?!

The percentile is basically the percentage of people you got a better or equal mark to in that module. I think there should be an overall number as well. I don't know whether they rely on the individual scores or the overall.

I'm told there's a cut-off score to decide who gets interviews, depending on how competitive the competition for the places is I guess.

I got 104 percentile 45
And 81 percentile 23
Overall result 92 percentile 29
How come my 104 score has less percentile than your 100 score. Don't think ill b making it in

I did 3 tests, my first score is the overall result of my first two tests. And my second score is the results of my first and third test together

If you are in the 20th percentile then 80% of people who sat the exam scored higher than you.
Basically how percentiles work.

Thank u :-) I applied for a few courses but I really wanna do psychology or else I'll just go to England and finish my nursing. What about you?

Social work but as I said don't think I have a hope on dat result..although I heard there is an interview process so maybe just maybe...dare I hope!!!

Congrats on interview I have one on 12 May for social work in UCC. Best of luck with it hopefully I see you there in September.

I got on module 1 112 scaled score percentile 64
on module 2 103 scaled score percentile 70

overall scaled score 108 percentile 71

What does that mean in English???!!!!?? And at what stage do you know if it's good enough or not? Has everyone been notified if they've gotten an interview already...?? I've heard nothing

Hi. You beat my score of 107 lol. I got a interview for social work and youth and community but they are not my first choices. What have you applied for.

I applied for PE Teaching.... I've heard nothing about an interview

I don't know if they call people or not for interview??? I was hoping to have heard something...

Not all courses hold interviews. Some just go by scores. After talking to the mature student office, I don't think we will know anything til d first week of July..so its a waiting game now good luck!

Holy cow, how headwrecking is the wait.....!!! It's like leaving Cert part deux!!!!
