    Hey Guys,

Would appreciate some suggestions on what sort of diesel car I should be looking at. My budget is 4k. I'm doing 65km a day round trip to work, but its all dueler/motorway, i think this makes me a good candidate for buying a diesel? I've no kids so 3 or 5 door is fine.

Friend of mine is selling a well looked after Golf 1.9 TDI, 04, 120 thousand miles, timing belt/water pump just done for the second time. Full year NCT. How does that sound to you lads? Hes never had any turbo trouble with it.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks
