How soon can you move into on-campus accomodation?

Does anyone know the official date you can move into the on-campus accommodation? I've looked around the website and there are no official dates mentioned other than when you can book it. So would it be yours as soon as you've booked it or does it only open in, like, September or whatever?
I'd like to move in ASAP but I assume a) there's people already living there until late Summer and b) they'd want to clean it up after the last batch of students :-P So probably August/September? :)
Also in your experience would everyone move in on the same day, or would people just sort of trickle in over the weeks?
Thanks for reading and would be grateful for any information :)

It's usually the Sunday before the Orientation Week, so I'd guess you wouldn't be able to access 2015/2016 rooms until Sunday September 13th 2015. You will not (afaik) be allowed access to the room before this date so I'd advise arranging other temporary accommodation should you need to arrive earlier.

    :)

First years will be moving in from 13th-18th September (along with RA's). All other years are allowed move in from the 20th September.

The trickle lasts for about a week. Everyone will have moved in by the 21st September.

Since when are other years not allowed move in at the same time as first years and why not?

Maybe they are but most of them don't bother coming up for orientation week? I was under the impression they weren't allowed but they pay the same rent as first years so why wouldn't they be?

They're definitely allowed. I always moved up that week. It is a trickle but plenty do at the same time. RAs are normally moved in a week or two beforehand.
