Developer Job Spec Requisites

Hi,

Could someone tell me. When on a job spec it states:

a.
Minimum 5 years development experience
3 years Android development experience

or

b.
4 Years Java Experience
2 Years android

Does that mean the employer is looking for a. 8 years exp b. 6 years or is that all inclusive?

Also as someone who graduated in 2013, does college Java experience count?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It's something that I'm always unsure of.

That would normally mean 5 years full time employment in development, of which 3 are in Android. College wouldn't count.

Same for the second example, 4 years working in Java, 2 of which were Android specifically.
