    Hi Guys

Just wondering would anyone know a good repair place for MacBook Airs. Water got into my new MacBook Air over the weekend. It was turned on at the time so pretty much shorted right away. I have had to upside down drying for the last two days but it will not charge or power on at all anymore. Any help would be appreciated as CompuB are charging more than the price of a new one to fix it basically.

    Thanks in Advance

its going to cost a good bit whereever you go as you would have to get the logic board replaced

a logic board alone will cost in the region of a couple of hundred quid, plus a few other parts that would have been damaged ... then you will have a couple of hours labour to get it working again .. 9 times out of 10 water damage while the machine is turned on will result in it being beyond economical repair

Cheers that's what I thought alright. It seems to have gotten into the fans at the back. It was turned off but dried the water from everywhere then turned it on again worked out then must have shorted then Ill see what can be salvaged and the cost thanks for the replies
