Charges dropped - any record kept?

In the event that the DPP proffers charges but subsequently drops them due to an individual's mental incapacity, is any public record kept on file anywhere? I understand in this case the individuals lawyers went to High Court before DPP agreed to drop charges.

Edited to add: I checked Bailli and couldn't find the case. Does this mean the case was unreported?

Most criminal cases are unreported in the sense they never make it onto legal databases.

Is this becasue they are not viewed as legally not significant (i.e., not establishing a new precedent)?

Where cases don't make it onto bailli and the like are there records kept anywhere by the government?

Of course. There has to be a record of the proceeding.
