I have two solar panels made up of tubes, vacuum tubes I believe they're called. The problem is every so often two of the tubes slide down as the plastic cap has been lost from them.

Does anyone know the average price of these tubes and where, if possible, I could pick up the plastic caps? I am guessing these are pretty standard in size.

The glass tubes tend to be in two standard sizes, possibly three. 47mm diameter, 58mm Diameter and also may be slightly different lengths. Usually 1.5m x 47, 1.8m x 58, but not always.

The plastic caps may vary from brand to brand, but if you put up a photo, someone here might identify them. Do you want to say where you bought them? I have some bits and pieces, as would many others here.
