    Hi Guys,

So I've just been offered a PME down at UL. Absolutely delighted to get the place. However, since I had the interview certain circumstances at home have changed that make it difficult to take up the place that been offered for September 2015.

Would anybody know about the possibility of being granted a deferral ?
On the UL graduate school websites FAO is says they are looked at at the discretion of the head of the course. However, I'm just worried on the impression of myself requesting a deferral would give.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Shouldnt be a problem. They think you are good enough for the course so happy to take your money. That shouldnt change in a year. Ring em up and ask who to write to.
