Payment on Tús!

Hi, I'm starting a job through Tús soon and I was wondering if anyone had any idea on what day your payment will be put into your bank account. Would it be the start of the week or the end of it? Would it be the same day you used to collect your SW payment? Or is completely up to the employer?

I'm asking because I start on the 27th of April and if I don't get paid until the end of that week then I am in big big trouble. I have rent and bills to pay and there is no way the payment I'll receive tomorrow can stretch for nearly two weeks.

I'm massively stressed out right now and seriously worrying so any help is really appreciated! Thanks!

Get paid Thurs. However you should get a cheque for remainder of dole money.

Thank you! But what do you mean about 'remainder of dole money'? Will I not get my full amount on a Thursday?

you will get TUS payment prob taxed into you bank account and JSA payment into the post office.( the tax should be temp issue till your are sorted with revenue)

you normally pick up your final dole payment in the post office the week you start on Tus, this can also mean that you get your TUS and a Dole payment the week your start.

but it will balance itself out again when it comes to signing back on after TUS so its not a double payment.

No, I was asked if I wanted to sign up for the scheme and I said yes as I was sick of sitting around all day but I can't find a job. I suppose if I had said no my payment would have been cut but I still agreed to it so I wasn't really forced.
