Allianz seem like a new team or at the very least new to our league.

No idea what to expect but need to make sure we do the basics right and start off with a win

Seems like we are pretty stacked on the wings and full back positions but light in mid and centre def could come back to haunt us this season
    Also Steo is in

Let's try to get up early lads - it'll be good to have a chat and get ourselves organised for the season ahead.

And bear in mind how mental the carpark can be if you're running late (that should ease when the school finishes for the summer in a few weeks time).

    good day today.

the difference in summer season for actually looking forward to being outside and playing some football vs winter season is huge.

me n derek will be up pretty early on the grass beside the pitch.

pity about the no show just so the new lads know thats not a regular occurrence first time its happened since iv been with the team

Yeah, as Derek says, that was very unusual. It was a brand new team we were due to play so we can cut them a little slack on it.

It was a good exercise though getting everyone together and I enjoyed the eight a side. New guys all seemed to know what they were doing. Thanks to them for coming up and hopefully we'll get to look at you in a proper match next week.
Also, it was nice to see everyone playing decent on-the-ground football in the mini-match. That's very much what we aspire to so it's good to see everyone can do it so well.

Oh, and in respect to that penalty shootout we did - obviously, I missed the first peno so no one would feel too intimidated. Captains often got to do stuff like that. :pac:

That was actually a pretty good evening lads, good to get the new faces integrated and given a chance to see the more established lads in action.

Impressive first look at the new lads, always good to get decent additions.

Hopefully after the false start we get an actual game next week.

Normally we'd get a 3-0 Walkover in circumstances like last night, but given it's a brand new team and the email was laid out kind of badly, the decision has been to play the fixture at a later date.

Still working towards match sharpness and fitness so hope to improve and break into the team :)
