Painting garden fence

    I have a post and rail fence and have treated it a few times with Ronseal 5yr weather stain. It has faded (last done about 2 years ago) and I was going to treat it with creosote. Will creosote take to the wood if it has been previously treated with weather shield. Grateful for any advice
